Why I Chose to Write This Book in a World Full of Reels and 30-Second Hacks
Because some shifts in life aren’t instant.
They need space… reflection… silence, not a 30-second hack!!
The idea for The Psychological Shift from Employee to Investor didn’t arrive in a flash of inspiration.
It was a slow realization, shaped by years of choices, quiet reflections, and bold decisions.
It was my plan — calculations — to break free from my job at 45.
But in 2020, at 40, I took the leap.
The world was in chaos. Markets had crashed. Fear was everywhere.
And yet, I saw clarity.
Instead of taking a sabbatical, I made a choice:
To turn my passive investing into a full-time career.
It wasn’t just about money.
It was about life.
Thanks to my wife — her gentle nudges gave me the courage to leap in my 40s. She believed in me more than I did… because she truly is my better half. 😊
My younger son had just been born.
I saw a second chance — to reconnect with my roots,
to be fully present in ways I had missed during my elder son’s early years.
I didn’t want to wait five more years
to start living life on my terms.
And that’s where this book comes from.
This book isn’t about rejecting money —
It’s about understanding its true value,
and the respect it deserves.
Money may not buy everything,
but when used as a tool, it can gift you what truly matters:
- 🕰️ More time
- 🧘 Deeper peace
- 🤝 Stronger connections
- ❤️ And the freedom to be present — where it counts the most:
With your family, your passions, your purpose.
I don’t say money isn’t important —
It absolutely is.
But it should support your life,
not silently consume it.
📖 More stories, thoughts, and heartfelt lessons coming soon.
🙏 Thank you again for all the love on my book announcement last week.
If my journey resonates even a little with yours,
maybe this book is for you too.
